Sky Bet and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) have joined forces to launch the Every Minute Counts campaign, aimed at encouraging more people to learn life-saving CPR techniques.
The initiative seeks to train 270,000 individuals in CPR over the next year, with the support of program ambassadors including football icons Graeme Souness, Glenn Hoddle, and David Ginola, as well as football fans with personal experiences related to cardiac arrest.
As part of the campaign, Sky Bet has pledged to donate up to £3 million to support the BHF's efforts. The funding will kick off with £10,000 donations for each full-time and extra-time knockout stage match during the company's tournament, demonstrating a commitment to promoting CPR awareness and empowering communities to save lives.
