During a special Christmas gift ceremony, the Sycuan Casino Resort in California generously donated $180,000 to 25 charitable organizations. This annual tradition involves casino employees selecting a company dedicated to providing free assistance to those in need, followed by a financial contribution.
Having conducted this ceremony for over a decade, the casino's support extends to various initiatives, encompassing social and health services, the arts, and environmental protection. Charities benefiting from this year's donations include the Alzheimer's Association of San Diego and the First American Political Institute.
Cody J. Martinez, Chairman of the Casino, expressed the organization's commitment to supporting over 20 diverse causes this year. Sycuan Casino boasts 50 gaming tables, 2,800 slot machines, and video slots, and in 2023, it became an exclusive partner of the San Diego Loyal Soccer Club.
