A famous rapper hit the jackpot and ended up in the police station

Rapper Nelly was taken into custody at the Hollywood Casino in Missouri while enjoying a night out in St. Louis. He is now facing charges of drug possession after local police reportedly discovered four ecstasy pills in his possession. Interestingly, just moments before his arrest, Nelly celebrated a big win, hitting a $50,000 jackpot on the slot machines.

His attorney, Scott Rosenblum, stated that Nelly was in the process of collecting his legitimate winnings when law enforcement arrived. Initially, Nelly thought the situation was a joke, even believing it was a prank while being handcuffed to a chair.

However, displaying some quick thinking, the rapper managed to retrieve the rest of his cash with his free hand. Rosenblum contends that the officer had no valid reason to search Nelly, and he is currently preparing to file a counterclaim against the police. Reports indicate that the artist has since been released on bail.
