Ben Dowding Appointed Chief Bookmaker of Racecourse Media Group

Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has named Ben Dowding as its new chief bookmaker, following his tenure as director of betting within the organization.

The decision to consolidate RMG's teams comes amidst a growing number of bookmakers, with Dowding set to lead this expanded team effective immediately.

Dowding brings extensive experience to his new role, having joined RMG in March 2013. He initially served as head of partnerships before progressing to roles such as head of B2B and director of rates, a position he held for over six years. Additionally, Dowding has served as a board member at BocaSports for the past three years.

RMG acts as the central organization for 35 racecourse shareholders, overseeing interests in Racing TV, GBI Racing, and Racecourse Data Company. Content from these racecourses is distributed to approximately 7,000 licensed bookmakers across the UK and Ireland.
