Betfair, a prominent sports betting operator, has announced the appointment of Rich Hayward as the Managing Director of the Irish bookmaker. Hayward previously held the position of Commercial Director within the company.
With over 15 years of dedicated service at Betfair, Hayward has showcased his expertise through various roles within the organization. Starting his career at Betfair after graduating from the Faculty of Economics, he swiftly ascended the corporate ladder. After joining Betfair in 2008, Hayward achieved the role of Senior Marketing Manager by 2011. His career trajectory continued to progress, and from February to August 2019, he assumed the role of Director of Integration, overseeing the smooth transition of Adjarabet into the Flutter Group.
As a subsidiary of the British holding company Flutter Entertainment, Betfair operates branches across different countries worldwide. Hayward's extensive experience within the company positions him well to lead Betfair in his new role as Managing Director.
