The Star Corporation has announced the resignation of Jessica Mellor, CEO of The Star Gold Coast, a subsidiary of the corporation. Mellor is set to step down on May 24, with plans to facilitate a smooth transition and oversee various critical initiatives during the interim period.
Having assumed the role of CEO in October 2023 after serving as chief operating officer, Mellor has been instrumental in the development of The Star Gold Coast, including its $2 billion masterplan as part of a joint venture consortium.
David Foster, Group Executive Chairman, expressed gratitude to Mellor for her contributions to the company. He emphasized Mellor's leadership during challenging times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and credited her for elevating The Star Gold Coast into an iconic, world-class property.
