The Kuntsevsky Court of Moscow has ruled the blocking of rapper Yegor Creed's account on the Twitch streaming platform as illegal. The Federal Tax Service and Roskomnadzor (RKN) failed to substantiate their claim that the popular rap artist was advertising gambling.
Egor Creed has been live streaming his online casino gaming sessions for several years, collaborating with various gambling companies. The decision to block Creed's Twitch account was initiated by Roskomnadzor following a complaint from Ekaterina Mizulina, the head of the Safe Internet League.
This block not only affected Creed but also impacted other bloggers, including Yuri Khovansky, Oleg Gorbenko, and Kirill and Alexander Volynkin. The recent court decision opens the possibility for these individuals to apply for unblocking. Despite the Twitch block, Creed continues his online casino broadcasts on another platform, Kick.
