FanDuel Completes Acquisition of BeyondPlay

FanDuel has finalized its acquisition of software developer BeyondPlay and appointed Caroline Pelk as Vice President of the newly integrated business unit.

Initially announced at the beginning of the year, the acquisition details were pending until all issues were resolved between February and June. With the completion of this deal, BeyondPlay's founder and CEO, Caroline Pelk, has been named Vice President of BeyondPlay at FanDuel, which is part of Flutter Entertainment.

Expressing her satisfaction with the new role, Pelk remarked, "I am very pleased that the brand I once created is now working for one of the most influential gaming companies in the world."

FanDuel's performance data from the first quarter of 2024 highlights its strong market position. FanDuel Casino was ranked the number one online casino, with a 34% increase in monthly active players. Additionally, FanDuel has consolidated its leadership in the US market, surpassing DraftKings, as confirmed by market experts at JMP Securities.
