Gaming Innovation Group has appointed a new board member

Gaming Innovation Group has announced the appointment of Andreas Söneby to its board of directors. Söneby brings a wealth of experience from the gambling industry, having held significant positions at notable companies such as Kambi and Unibet. He began his tenure at Unibet as CTO in 2006 and later became the CIO of Kambi in 2021.

After spending ten years with Kambi, Söneby went on to serve as CEO of White Hat Gaming. Following a brief period there, he took on roles at Instabox and Instabee before becoming a venture partner at Industrifonden.

Petter Nylander, CEO of Gaming Innovation Group, expressed his enthusiasm for Söneby’s appointment, emphasising that his extensive industry knowledge will be a tremendous asset to the organisation.

In related news, GiG recently released its financial results for the second quarter of 2024, showcasing record performance in its media division. The company continues to thrive and has secured several key M&A agreements, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.
