Golden Entertainment Corporation has announced the appointment of Blake Sartini II as its new Chief Operating Officer, succeeding Steve Arcana, who has transitioned to the role of Development Director, marking a significant milestone in the company's history.
While the personnel changes officially took effect on March 20, they were publicly announced on the 25th. Sartini II, who previously served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations, brings extensive experience to his new role, having joined the company in 2007. During his tenure, Sartini II has demonstrated strong leadership skills, overseeing operations across five local casinos in Las Vegas and Pahrump.
In his new capacity, Arcana will be entrusted with the task of identifying opportunities to unlock additional value from Golden Entertainment's diverse portfolio of properties in Las Vegas, Laughlin, and Pahrump. With a wealth of experience accumulated since joining the corporation in 2003, Arcana played a pivotal role in shaping Golden Entertainment's trajectory within the gambling industry. Under his leadership, Golden Entertainment evolved into a publicly traded entity with a robust portfolio encompassing casinos and taverns across the United States.
