Sports betting and online casino operator 888 has appointed Ian Gallagher as its new Chief Product Officer. The former manager at Flutter Entertainment, Gallagher brings a wealth of experience, having worked at Flutter from January 2021 to February 2023, and previously spending five years at Paddy Power's subsidiary Betfair.
Expressing his excitement, Gallagher stated on LinkedIn that he looks forward to working with 888 CEO Per Widerström and the team to "help shape and grow our iconic brands." Widerström himself, having taken over as head of the organization in October 2023, brings a fresh perspective after eight years as CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group in Central and Eastern Europe.
