Juventus have contacted the Italian soccer federation over reports of Faggioli's betting activities

News reports have surfaced that some Italian footballers, including Faggioli, may have been betting through an unconfirmed gambling site.

Two players, Sandro Tonali of Newcastle United in the English Premier League and Nicolo Giannolo, on loan to Aston Villa from Turkish club Galatasaray, were initially mentioned in this context. Subsequently, allegations against Faggioli also emerged.

Following these reports, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) decided to send the two players back to their clubs. Tonali and Gianniolo are now back training with their respective teams.

According to the FIGC, no details were given as to why the two players were suspended. However, it was stated that it was due to an investigation by the Turin prosecutor's office related to suspicions of unauthorized betting.

"Juventus also released a statement claiming that there is an investigation into Faggioli and his betting.

They added that as soon as they learned of Faggioli's possible involvement in the case, they immediately contacted the FIGC Federal Prosecutor's Office.
