Leadership Changes at Star Entertainment Group

Star Entertainment Group is undergoing significant leadership changes with the departure of two key executives: CEO and Managing Director Robbie Cook, and CFO Christina Katsibouba.

Cook, who assumed the role of CEO in November 2022, has decided to step down from his position, along with CFO Katsibouba. The decision, made in conjunction with the board, reflects a belief that a change in leadership will best serve the company's interests. As Cook exits his leadership role with immediate effect, he will continue to support the company in a consulting capacity for the next six months.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Board David Foster will take on additional responsibilities as interim CEO while the company initiates the search for a permanent replacement for Cook.

Katsibouba, who has been serving as CFO since May 2022, will be succeeded by Neil O'Connell, former CFO of the Tatts Group. Katsibouba's tenure with Star Entertainment Group dates back to April 2015, during which she held various finance-related roles within the company before assuming the CFO position.

These changes mark a significant transition in leadership for Star Entertainment Group and come amidst ongoing efforts to steer the company's strategic direction and operations.
