The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has announced the appointment of Charles Mizzi as its new Chief Executive. He is set to assume his role officially on January 26, succeeding Charles Brincat, who stepped down after a two-year tenure.
Mizzi, previously associated with Residency Malta, where he served in a similar capacity for five years, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His career includes various senior positions, including heading image and communications at Malta's BNF Bank.
Economy Minister Silvio Schembri welcomed the appointment, expressing confidence in Mizzi's ability to lead the MGA. He cited Mizzi's extensive experience in managing operations and contributions to significant projects as qualities that make him a fitting CEO for the regulatory authority.
