Niels Anden Officially Appointed CEO of Kindred Group

Niels Anden has been officially appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of major online gambling operator Kindred Group. Having served as the interim CEO in recent months, Anden, a former professional footballer, joined Kindred's predecessor, Unibet, in 2006. Prior to his temporary CEO role, he worked for three years as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

The former CEO, Henrik Ternström, stepped down due to controversies surrounding Kindred's development strategy and discussions about a potential sale of the company. Last month, French corporation FDJ expressed interest in acquiring Kindred for €2.45 billion. Evert Karlsson, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that Anden's appointment aligns with the company's development strategy.
