Soft2Bet’s Zuckerberg on iGaming’s Rise in the Balkans

Soft2Bet’s Zuckerberg on iGaming’s Rise in the Balkans

Soft2Bet's CEO, Yoel Zuckerberg, discussed the innovative products that the company plans to introduce in the promising gambling markets of the Balkan states.

In 2022, casino and betting platform provider Soft2Bet appointed Yoel Zuckerberg as its Product Director. Zuckerberg has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has held executive positions at Aspire Global, Ladbrokes, and 888Holdings.

Soft2Bet is one of the giants in the gambling industry. It specializes in White Label services (a system of collaboration between different companies where one produces goods or provides services, and other companies market them under their own brands). Soft2Bet's White Label is a software service for online casinos and bookmakers.

Innovative Gamification Tools from Soft2Bet

In September this year, Soft2Bet participated in the large-scale SiGMA Balkans & CIS conference in Cyprus. This event is one of the most significant in the gambling and iGaming industry in the Balkans and CIS regions. The conference gathered leading experts and entrepreneurs who shared their knowledge and experience, talked about the latest trends in gamification, and discussed the prospects for the development of the Balkan and CIS markets.

The main office of Soft2Bet is located in Limassol, so its representatives felt at home at the event. The company presented a series of developments for gamification that it implements in online games. In particular, a unique and relatively new tool – social gamification. This is a mechanism for engaging and long-term retention of the audience using gaming techniques in non-gaming processes.

Another gamification tool from Soft2Bet, a unique way to attract and retain player interest, is City Builder. Since the introduction of gamification into the real gambling industry opens up limitless possibilities, Soft2Bet actively uses this and brings ideas from social games and esports to attract online casino players.

According to Joel Zuckerberg, gamification is one of the main elements of Soft2Bet's growth.

Planned Expansion in the Balkans

As the expert stated, the company views the Balkan countries as regions with enormous potential, albeit with administrative challenges. He believes that Soft2Bet has all the capabilities to serve them, thanks to its powerful platform and innovations in the field of iGaming. Moreover, the company's strong point is its ability to adapt its products to the specifics of the region. Consider the following:

  • In 2018, Soft2Bet opened an office in Sofia, Bulgaria, which became the center of executive management with CEO Boris Chaikin at the helm.
  • In 2020, the company opened a branch in Belgrade, Serbia.
  • Last year, Soft2Bet expanded into seven regulated markets, obtaining licenses in Romania and Greece, essentially becoming a monopoly there.

Thus, the company aims to expand its presence in regulated markets worldwide. Regarding the Balkans, Zuckerberg notes:

"Soft2Bet has all the technical conditions and competent people. The recent licenses lay a solid foundation for future expansion in this region."
