Three prominent casinos in Las Vegas are poised for a leadership change. Caesars Entertainment has announced the appointment of Ken Otempowski as senior vice president and general manager, taking charge of Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and Horseshoe Las Vegas.
Otempowski previously managed The ROW Reno, a trio of casinos in Northern Nevada, and has also led operations in various regions, including the Gulf Coast, Midwest, and Colorado.
Anthony Carano, president and chief operating officer of Caesars Entertainment, expressed confidence in Otempowski's capabilities, highlighting his potential to enhance operations at Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood, and Horseshoe. Carano emphasised that Otempowski’s extensive experience positions him well to foster growth and introduce innovative strategies for these iconic properties.
It’s important to note that Otempowski succeeds Jason Gregorz, who left to assume the role of president for the Delaware North gaming division, a company headquartered in Buffalo, New York, and operating gaming venues across eight states. With Otempowski now leading three major Las Vegas casinos and Gregorz embarking on a new venture with Delaware North, both leaders are ready to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead in their respective roles.
