ARC, RMG, Tabcorp and 1/ST CONTENT form global alliance
Arena Racing Company (ARC), Racecourse Media Group (RMG), Tabcorp, and 1/ST CONTENT have joined forces to establish a new alliance. This collaboration aims to unite four prominent horse and greyhound racing companies in the industry. The ultimate objective of this partnership is to establish a worldwide network that will enable the seamless and lawful distribution of betting and associated content across various international markets.
All four members of the alliance boast significant industry experience. Having studied and analysed the market, the players decided to join forces and offer operators a full range of solutions related to broadcasting races, data transfer and the ability to use the betting and place bets 24/7.
The partnership should also make content and services easier to access for customers around the world.
Brendan Parnell, ARC's managing director of media and international relations, highlighted that establishing a strong alliance will boost the Racing Group and its partners' capabilities, ensuring they deliver the top product in the industry. Martin Stevenson, CEO of RMG, echoed this sentiment, emphasising that the alliance will drive growth in the horse and greyhound racing sector by fostering ongoing innovation.
Paul Carew, Tabcorp's chief operating officer, expressed his pride in merging top-notch content from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates with leading companies from the UK and North America to provide superior content for new viewers. The Arena Racing Company, the renowned greyhound racing organisation in the UK, manages 16 racecourses and five greyhound racing venues throughout the country, boasting a strong following among fans.
1/ST CONTENT, a division of 1/ST, a leading horse racing company in the Americas, also specialises in content distribution. Tabcorp, Australia's largest gaming company, will provide betting, gambling and media services.
