Betfair Reports Decline in Biden's Odds Amid Memory Concerns
Political bettors are expressing growing skepticism about President Joe Biden's chances in the upcoming presidential elections, according to bookmaker Betfair. Biden's odds have seen a significant decline following reports about his memory problems. Despite the president's denial of memory issues in response to a Department of Justice report on mishandling top-secret documents, bettors are less confident in his ability to secure reelection. Many are shifting their bets to favor his opponent, Republican Donald Trump.
Currently, Betfair places Biden's odds of winning reelection at 3.9, while Trump's chances of returning to the Oval Office are estimated by players at 47%. This shift is attributed to concerns over Biden's memory problems and the potential impact on his electoral prospects.
