Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Imposes $20,000 Fines on Negligent Operators

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has announced fines against two gambling operators in the state, totaling $20,000, for violations of gaming regulations.

Stadium Casino has been fined $10,000 for allowing students to place bets through its Betway platform, in violation of state laws prohibiting gambling by minors. Similarly, Crown PA DFS operator will also face a $10,000 penalty for accessing Reignmakers, despite being directed by the PGCB to block access to the platform.

These fines come on the heels of previous penalties imposed by the PGCB on other casino operators. Last month, fines totaling $212,500 were approved for Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing and Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, amounting to $147,500 and $65,000 respectively.

The PGCB continues to enforce strict regulations to ensure compliance with gaming laws and protect consumers from harm. The next board meeting is scheduled for April 24, where further actions may be discussed.
