Yahoo Finance Highlights Top 17 Bookmakers in the U.S.

In a recent feature, Yahoo Finance unveiled its list of the 17 largest sportsbooks in the United States, showcasing industry leaders such as DraftKings, PENN, and Caesars. Among these prominent names was Boyd Gaming Corporation, a notable player in the gaming and casino sector, which reported impressive fourth-quarter fiscal 2023 earnings of $954.41 million, surpassing initial projections by over $25 million.

DraftKings, a powerhouse in the international sports betting scene, continues to expand its reach. Following the legalization of betting in North Carolina, DraftKings swiftly launched its online bookmaker in the state on March 7. With operations spanning across Canada, Ontario, and 27 U.S. states, DraftKings has solidified its position as a key player in the industry.

Similarly, PENN and Caesars stand as formidable giants in the American betting landscape. PENN boasts a leading sports betting platform, ESPN BET, which offers an array of sports markets, cross-sport parlays, live betting options, and odds boosts, among other features. Meanwhile, Caesars, renowned for its land-based tribal casinos, was a pioneer in introducing online sports betting to the U.S. market, further solidifying its prominent status in the industry.
