Mobile Legends has a competition for the mid-season cup

Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB), the mobile esports MOBA arcade game, has revealed its 2024 development plan, which includes a significant tournament change. The Southeast Asian Cup, now renamed the Mid Season Cup, is one of the game's largest tournaments. The previous mid-season championship garnered over 3.6 million viewers and accumulated more than 40 million hours of watch time, as reported by the data platform Esports Charts. In a historic move, MLBB organizers announced that the rebranded 2024 event will take place outside of Southeast Asia, with new participating regions, including China. The arcade developer's representatives also stated that the prize fund for the tournament will see a substantial increase.

Alongside the Mid Season Cup, MLBB's 2024 plan introduces new tournaments focused on women's and university competitions within the cyber discipline. MLBB, a multiplayer MOBA game designed for mobile devices, involves players capturing the enemy base by strategically destroying towers positioned in the middle of the game map.
