Kuwait Deports Over 30 Migrants for Involvement in Gambling and Alcohol Production

Kuwaiti authorities have initiated the deportation of 37 migrants from the country due to their engagement in illegal gambling and alcohol production activities. The police conducted raids in Al-Ahmadi and Al-Farwaniya provinces, leading to the arrest of over 30 individuals, with seizures of significant amounts of money and mobile phones.

The detained individuals, including one woman, are facing deportation, while the employers of those arrested may face charges for the illegal hiring of employees.

Gambling is officially prohibited in various Middle Eastern countries, including Kuwait, where it is against the teachings of the Muslim holy scripture, the Koran. Law enforcement in the region is actively working to suppress both online and land-based illegal gambling operations.
