The COA has fined Blue High House

The online casino will pay €43,000 ($45,310) each week until the problem is resolved.

Blue High House allowed players to gamble on its website www.betonline.ag without the necessary license, which is against the Gambling Act.

The investigation began on December 7, 2021, when two agents from Saudi Arabia filed a complaint against a website operated by Blue High House.

During the investigation, KSA found that people could register on the site from the Netherlands, and even the country was automatically selected when registering with the Dutch city code +31.

Investigators are still looking into whether measures were taken to prevent Dutch players from accessing the site. Between May 2022 and May 2023, 136,569 players from the Netherlands accessed the site. On June 29, 2023, the KSA announced its intention to fine the company, but Blue High House did not respond.

On August 9, 2023, KSA management discovered that Dutch players could still participate in gambling on the site. The KSA therefore decided to immediately stop the illegal activity and levy a fine of €43,000 per week if Blue High House did not comply.

The company can currently be fined a maximum of up to €129,000.
