Three Darts Players Suspended Due to Suspicious Betting

The Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) in the United Kingdom has suspended three players from competition due to suspicious betting activities.

The matches in question took place in June 2023, but the DRA only released a statement regarding the players' suspension in November. According to the International Betting Integrity Association, one of the players, Main, violated rules during a match against Lisa Ashton in the Modus Super Series.

Darts players Prakash Jiwa and Andy Jenkins also received accusations of betting manipulations. While there is no confirmed data regarding their matches yet, Jiwa is expected to participate in the World Darts Championship in December following his victory in the qualifying tournament in India. His disqualification raises doubts about his ability to compete in the event.
