Allwyn Appoints Steve Parkinson as Chief Marketing Officer
Allwyn, the new operator of the UK National Lottery, has named Steve Parkinson as its Chief Marketing Officer. Parkinson, previously in charge of products at German media holding Bauer Media, played a key role in the growth of music brands like Kiss, Magic, Jazz FM, and Absolute Radio.
Having held a similar position at EMAP, overseeing various creative projects and media agencies, Parkinson brings valuable experience to Allwyn. His extensive background also includes leadership roles at Chrysalis over ten different periods.
Steve Parkinson will be succeeding Ivor Burns as the Head of Marketing. Burns has served with the National Lottery for 14 years.
Allwyn continues to make strategic hires as it prepares to take over the operation of the British National Lottery from Camelot Group starting in 2024.
