Former Marina Bay Sands CEO Banned from Casino

Andrew MacDonald, the former senior vice president and casino director at Marina Bay Sands, has received a permanent ban from the casino by Las Vegas Sands. The decision comes after allegations surfaced that MacDonald, who is currently employed by rival Resorts World Sentosa, attempted to entice customers and staff away from Marina Bay Sands during his recent visits to the resort.

As a result, Marina Bay Sands has declared MacDonald persona non grata, prohibiting him from accessing any area of the integrated resort, including the hotel, shopping mall, convention center, and casino. The resort has also warned that legal action may be pursued if he attempts to enter the premises.

In response, MacDonald acknowledged that he had visited Marina Bay Sands a few times recently but insisted that these visits were personal in nature. He clarified that he met up with a former business partner and an old friend from Melbourne who happened to be in town.
