SkyCity Appoints Andrew McPherson as Chief Information Officer
SkyCity Entertainment Group, the prominent casino operator, has officially named Andrew McPherson as its Chief Information Officer (CIO) on a permanent basis. McPherson had been serving in the role in an interim capacity since November 2023.
Bringing extensive experience in information technology and leadership roles, McPherson rejoins SkyCity after a tenure as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at New Zealand media company Stuff. Prior to that, he held the position of Information and Communications Technology Manager at SkyCity from September 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, McPherson has held executive positions at Experieco and International Telematics, which he co-founded, and served as the head of design at Spark Digital NZ.
Expressing his enthusiasm for returning to SkyCity, McPherson shared his excitement about rejoining the organization's dynamic team. His appointment underscores SkyCity's commitment to leveraging top talent to drive innovation and growth in its information technology operations.
