Trump Jr. Calls Out Alabama Senate's Stance on Lottery Legislation

In a recent social media post, Donald Trump Jr., son of former US President Donald Trump, took aim at the Alabama Senate for its reluctance to pass legislation enabling Alabamians to vote on the establishment of a state lottery.

"Why is the Senate refusing to allow the people to vote on legislation to legalize the lottery and fund education when 45 states already do so?" questioned Trump on his social media platform. Governor Kay Ivey has also entered the fray, throwing her support behind the introduction of a lottery in Alabama and underscoring the importance of granting residents the opportunity to have their say through a vote.
