30% of iGaming customers in the US are overwhelmed by promotional messages
But 54% say promotions are their favorite iGaming feature.
A study from Optimove has revealed that many online gamers in the US feel annoyed by frequent promotional messages from iGaming operators. As a result of this intrusive marketing activity, 86% of customers terminate their subscriptions with iGaming providers.
However, despite many complaints, about 68% of players believe that the amount of promotions is quite acceptable. And even among those who unsubscribed from iGaming sites due to advertising, 54% admit that the promotions and offers were what they enjoyed the most.
The study also revealed that 58% of respondents have increased their betting budget, linking this to confidence in the economy. Over 85% gamble at least once a week and 59% have increased online gambling since the pandemic.
The main issue for iGaming customers appeared to be slow payouts and withdrawals, cited by 58% of respondents as the most negative aspect of online gambling.
